Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten made a statement regarding his meeting with European Investment Bank (EIB) President Nadia Calvino.

Highlighting the bank’s critical importance for the European economy, Jetten said: "The European Investment Bank plays a key role in strengthening the EU economy by providing loans for climate action, the energy transition, and European defense and security."

Providing information about the focus of the meeting, Jetten added: "It was a pleasure to meet EIB President Nadia Calvino and to learn how the bank helps enhance the EU’s competitiveness and innovation capacity."
