Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi thanks Southeast Asian countries
Tehran, March 21 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, in a message issued on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, expressed his gratitude to Muslim countries and communities in Southeast Asia that showed solidarity with Iran against the attacks that continued throughout the month of Ramadan.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi released a statement addressed to regional countries and the Islamic world as part of Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
In his message, Minister Araghchi both extended holiday greetings and addressed the recent military tensions.
Drawing attention to the stance of Southeast Asian countries, Araghchi said: “We thank the Muslim governments, communities, and justice-loving people in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei) who condemned the brutal attacks carried out by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran during Ramadan and showed solidarity.”
