Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Baqaei evaluated US actions targeting Iran’s ports and coastline.

Esmail Baqaei said that the blockade not only violates the ceasefire achieved through Pakistan’s mediation but is also unlawful and constitutes a crime.

Baqaei stated, “This situation violates Article 2(4) of the United Nations Charter and is considered an act of aggression under United Nations General Assembly Resolution 3314.”

Referring to the consequences for the Iranian people, Baqaei added, “Such actions amount to collective punishment and constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity.”
