U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth referred to the continuation of the current blockade in the region and its possible consequences.

Speaking about the options before Iran, Hegseth said: “As our negotiators have also said, Iran, you can choose a prosperous future, a golden bridge, and we hope you do so for the Iranian people.”

Stating that the blockade will continue, Hegseth said: “In the meantime, no matter how long it takes, we will maintain this successful blockade.”

Hegseth concluded his statement by saying: “But if Iran makes the wrong choice, it will face both the blockade and bombings targeting infrastructure, electricity, and energy.”
