Chairman of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee Chuck Grassley made a statement regarding the restructuring of the Department of Justice under the Trump administration.

Grassley said, “Democrats who used the Department of Justice for political purposes do not like Blanche, and that shows he is the right choice for the position of Attorney General.”

Reaffirming his support for Blanche, Grassley stated, “As Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, I have emphasized the restoration of the Department of Justice under the Trump administration.”

The statement noted that Grassley highlighted the strengthening of the Department of Justice's institutional structure and the restructuring of the department's operations.
