According to CCTV; Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is paying an official visit to China between May 24-28 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

It was reported that during the visit, the two leaders will exchange views not only on bilateral relations but also on regional and international issues.

Serbian officials and academics stated that the “iron friendship” between the two countries would become even stronger and that cooperation could expand particularly in the fields of infrastructure, science, culture, and education.

Officials in Belgrade noted that Serbia’s economic relations with China and the increased trade volume following the Free Trade Agreement have elevated cooperation to a strategic level.
