In Australia, the ASX 200 index fell by 0.17% to 8,936.20. In Japan, the Nikkei index dropped by 0.86% to 55,826.20.
In India, the Nifty 50 index decreased by 0.92% to 23,775.80, while in Hong Kong the Hang Seng index declined by 0.35% to 25,801.87.
In China, the Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.73% to 3,965.701.
Thus, a downward trend was observed across the region’s markets.
