Costa: Cooperation between the EU and Kazakhstan is strengthening
Brussels, June 23 (Hibya) - European Council President Antonio Costa stated that he was pleased to welcome Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Brussels and noted that cooperation between the European Union and Kazakhstan continues to grow stronger.
European Council President Antonio Costa noted that they met again in Brussels six months after President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit.
Emphasizing that relations between the EU and Kazakhstan continue to develop across many areas, Costa said this is a concrete indication of increasing cooperation in fields of mutual interest.
Costa stated that the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement provides tangible benefits for both Kazakhstan and Europe, adding that the parties continue to strengthen their cooperation as strategic partners.
