CENTCOM: U.S. Navy continues operations in the Arabian Gulf
It was announced that U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers under CENTCOM continue operating in the Arabian Gulf within the framework of “Project Liberty” following their transit through the Strait of Hormuz, supporting the restoration of commercial shipping traffic.
CENTCOM announced that U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers began operations in the Arabian Gulf after passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
The statement noted that these units are operating under “Project Liberty” and are supporting the safe resumption of commercial shipping traffic in the region.
CENTCOM also reported that, in the initial phase, two U.S.-flagged commercial vessels successfully completed their transit through the Strait of Hormuz and continued their journeys safely.
It was stated that these activities are part of ongoing efforts to enhance maritime traffic security in the region.
