Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, strongly condemned the attacks against the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), expressing condolences to the country of the soldier who lost his life and wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.

Providing details about the attack and sharing his message of condolence, Albares said: “In these attacks, peacekeepers were injured, including a Spanish soldier, and a Serbian soldier lost his life. I extend my condolences to the victim’s family and to Serbia, and I wish the injured a swift recovery.”
