Albares: Gibraltar agreement opens a new chapter for a brighter future
Madrid, April 23 (Hibya) – Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares emphasized the importance of the agreement reached on Gibraltar’s status for the people of the region.
Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares stated that the consensus reached on Gibraltar will change the social and economic dynamics in the region.
Highlighting the historic nature of the agreement, Albares said, “The historic agreement we have reached on Gibraltar opens a new chapter of coexistence and a brighter future.”
Referring particularly to its impact on local residents, Albares added, “This agreement, which responds to the needs of the region, strengthens stability and opportunities for the 300,000 Andalusian citizens living in Campo de Gibraltar.”
